Chief of Police

Chief Gary Roche has dedicated his service to the Town of Pulaski as Chief of Police since 2001. He began his career in law enforcement in 1976 at the Harrisonburg Police Department. He then went on to serve at Roanoke County Sheriff's Office which later became Roanoke County Police Department in 1990.

Chief Roche received his Master's of Science Degree in Administration of Justice from Radford University in 1988 and his Bachelor's Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1976.  He is a graduate of the FBI Natioanl Academy and University of Richmond Professional Executive Leadership School.
